NASS: Abdulmumin Jibrin admits Internal issues but no crack in APC(via-Instagram)
The speaker of Nigeria House Of Representative Honourable Yakubu Dogara has taken to his social media page to mourn the painful death of former House of Representatives member late Honourable Independence Ogunewa. The speaker who took to his twitter page to express his condolences at the sudden death of the two-term lawmaker said:
I received with sadness, news of the death of a former member of @HouseNGR, Hon Independence Ogunewe.He was a man of courage who stood for the truth always & may the Lord grant his immediate family, friends and associates the fortitude to bear the loss.

Ogunewe, during his lifetime, was a member of the PDP and represented Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency of Imo State, between 2003 and 2011. He was reportedly found dead on Tuesday 3rd April in his Abuja home.
