Operatives of the Delta State Police Command Thursday, revealed that it has neutralised one Japhet who has been on Police wanted list for attacking and killing innocent persons, including Police officers in Asaba Delta State.
According to the statement released on Thursday 4th August 2022, by Delta State Command Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, Japhet in his attempt to attack policemen while on duty along Anwai-Illah road, was neutralized and one fabricated beretta pistol was recovered.
Bright Edafe in the same statement, also stated that the State Police command arrested a suspected Okada thief who specialises in snatching motorcycles from riders with a dagger in Umunede, Delta State.
The suspected Okada thief according to the statement released by the State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, was arrested in the Umunede area of the state.
Bright Edafe in his statement stated that in Umunede, another suspect who went with a gun to a hotel to send customers away was also arrested and the gun recovered.
