Some suspected armed robbers on Thursday, attacked a bullion van belonging to one of the popular commercial banks at Idi Ape area of Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
According to reports, there were sporadic gunshots as residents scampered for safety during the attack, but it was gathered that two policemen were reportedly shot and killed by the suspected armed robbers.
Those that witness the attack from a distance, told reporters that the armed robbers successfully hijacked the bullion van and carted away with everything inside.
The Oyo State Police command are yet to confirm the incident at the time of filing this report.
