The NCDC announced on Tuesday 30th June 2020, on its official social media handle that 561 new cases have been recorded in some states of the federation.
The latest figures just like the previous updates from the national public health institute, which is responaible to lead the prevention, detection and response to infectious disease outbreaks in Nigeria, shows Lagos state with the highest positive cases out of the 561 new cases confirmed on Tuesday.
The state recorded 200 cases out of the positive cases confirmed on Tuesday, with Edo state recording 119 cases to rank the second highest.
The update from the national public health institute, also shows that the 561 new cases were recorded in 19 states, including the FCT.

From the latest update, a total of 25,694 cases have been confirmed, with 9,746 patients discharged, and with 590 deaths.
