Les Zouaves Paris, the small violent extreme right-wing group implicated during the violence committed at Eric Zemmour’s meeting in Villepinte France, has been dissolved, the Interior Minister of France announced on Wednesday, AFP reports.

According to the report by AFP, the Les Zouaves Paris suspected in particular of being involved in the violence committed during the meeting of Eric Zemmour in Villepinte in December, was dissolved Wednesday in the Council of Ministers, announced the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin.

According to the dissolution decree, this informal group, Les Zouaves Paris which appeared in 2017 and brings together around twenty members, is accused of being “at the origin of numerous and recurring violent acts” and of “propagating an openly racist discourse”, broadcasting “regularly images showing the symbols of Nazi ideology “.

Minister of the Interior pointed to a small group which “called for hatred and violence”.

In various publications, this gathering of lightning-fast actions like those of the “hooligans” defends “the concept of the superiority of ‘whites'”, specifies the decree. Still, according to the decree, the Zouaves Paris encourage “violent behaviour against homosexuals and transsexuals”.

The small group, nicknamed the ZVP, is made up of both former members of the Union Defense Group (GUD), the Social Bastion and Generation Identity, the latter two having been dissolved.

The group is suspected of being involved in the violence which targeted SOS Racisms activists during Eric Zemmour’s electoral meeting in Villepinte (Seine-Saint-Denis) on December 5, the alleged leader of the group, Marc de Cacqueray-Valmenier, was indicted for willful violence in mid-December.
