The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported nineteen new cases of the coronavirus in Nigeria, as total figure so far reported in Nigeria as at Tuesday 14th April 2020, hits 362.

The NCDC in a tweet on their official twitter handle a few hours ago, said as at 09:20 pm 14th April 2020, Nineteen new cases of the COVID19 have been reported and they are as follows:
14 in Lagos
2 in FCT
1 in Kano
1 in Akwa Ibom
1 in Edo

These latest nineteen additional new cases bring the total confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Nigeria so far to 362. The total cases of discharged patients, mostly from Lagos, stand at 99 in Nigeria, and total deaths recorded so far is 11.

Earlier today, Lagos State government announced that they have discharged 8 patient from their Isolation facility, and one death, with Kano, Edo and Akwa Ibom confirming new cases.

For Lagos, the Governor of Lagos State in confirming the 8 discharged patients from their Yaba centre on Tuesday 14th April 2020, said the eight more additional patients discharged are six males and two females.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu disclosed these on his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday.

The Governor said: “More great news today from our Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba.

“Eight more people: two females and six males have tested negative and fully recovered from #COVID19. They have been discharged to return to their families.

“This brings the number of patients successfully managed and discharged from our facilities to 69.
“Please, let us continue to adhere to all the safety advice from our health experts,” he said.
