Deji Adeyanju has resigned his position from the civil society movement known as OurMumuDondo, as he accused the co-founder Charles Oputa who is popularly known as Charly Boy of compromise, saying he has lost confidence in the Leadership of the Area father himself.
Deji Adeyanju who was recently released from Police custody, after spending 78-days in the Kano prison, over a murder case that had been decided since 2009 by a Kano court, a few hours ago took to his social media page to call out Charly Boy.
He said Charly Boy betrayed members of the OurMumuDonDo movement, by dining with those they have kicked against. He said:
“Dear Nigerians, I have resigned my membership of OurMumuDon. I no longer have confidence in the leader of the movement, Charly Boy. He betrayed the cause while I was away in prison and compromised with the oppressors. Thank you. — Deji Adeyanju.
Deji Adeyanju who is the Convener of Concerned Nigerians, and known to be a member and supporter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and also known to be a critic of the ruling party and President Muhammadu Buhari, is finally moving to a different direction away from OurMumuDonDo.
Now, while we are not judging him for his decision to leave OurMumuDonDo group who have constantly campaigned for his release, it will be nice to ask that if Deji does not see anything wrong with him being a member of a political party or a known sympathizer of PDP while also claiming to be fighting for Nigerians those he called the ‘oppressed’ why is he mad that Charly Boy is allegedly doing the same thing with those he called the ‘oppressor’…
…78-days in prison does not give anyone right to start addressing Nigerians, and trying to drag Nigerians into their personal issues…deal with your problems at least we have tried our best getting you out of Kano prison…lol
