Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state has re-appointed Aminu Dahiru, popularly called Aminu Hikima, as Senior Special Assistant, Photography, and the appointment is with immediate effect.
Governor Ganduje in a Press statement released on Tuesday 21st January 2020, expressed his satisfaction over the activities of Aminu Dahiru during his first appointment in the last tenure, revealing that,
“Parts of the encouraging aspects of Aminu Dahiru’s sterling qualities in his profession is his committed zeal and determination. Here is a young chap, who believes in effective and efficient delivery in all that he does.”
Adding that, he was extremely attracted by Dahiru’s quality pictures with clear impressions and his (Dahiru’s) know-how in proving to the community of photography that the profession is worth doing with all seriousness and clear understanding.
“It is very clear to all that this young photographer Aminu is somebody who believes in moving with modern technology in his profession. That is why I see in him a young pacesetter in the photography industry. He clearly understands how best his cameras can work,” says Ganduje.
He further encourages that pictures coming through the lenses of SSA Photography are not only attractive but also competitive, “This makes his re-assigned responsibility as apt, timely and critical in our next level engagements,” he said.
He finally advised the newly appointed SSA to always face his work with due diligence and commitment, “Just as he started. With this, the sky is his limit. With his discipline and commitment, Aminu Dahiru can face professional challenges squarely and overcome them,” governor predicted.
