Former Iron Maiden singer Paul Di’Anno has died at the age of 66, his family announced on Monday, Daily Mail reports.


Paul Andrews, better known by his stage name Paul, passed away at his home in Salisbury, Wiltshire. 

A statement announcing his death read: ‘On behalf of his family, Conquest Music are sad to confirm the death of Paul Andrews, professionally known as Paul Di’Anno.


‘Paul passed away at his home in Salisbury at the age of 66.’

Paul fronted the band for the two albums titled Iron Maiden in 1980 and Killers in 1981 – before being replaced by current vocalist Bruce Dickinson.
