Katy Perry shared her pregnancy journey with her daughter Daisy Dove in a Mother’s Day tribute posted on Instagram.
The 39-year-old pop superstar shared photos and video clips with her roughly 206 million followers on Sunday after speaking with her mother Mary Christine.
‘Today I told my mother that the day I realized how much she loved me is the day I had my own daughter, Daisy Dove… there is nothing like a Mother’s love… never take it for granted… Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and caretakers — any way you come,’ Katy posted.
She also posted descriptions for the five stages of her pregnancy journey with three-year-old Daisy Dove.
First up was ‘Og pee stick!’ and Katy showed her pregnancy test results.
Next was ‘Telling O I was pregnant (he was filming in Prague)’, referencing her fiancé Orlando Bloom, 47. A screen grab showed Orlando smiling while on a video call with Katy.,
Third on the list was ‘Telling my brothers @lukebryan @lionelrichie the big news on set in Hawaii at #idol’.
Katy posted a short clip telling Luke Bryan, 47, and Lionel Richie, 74, that she was ‘very pregnant’ and getting hugs from her fellow American Idol judges.
Her fourth post was ‘Hearing Daisy’s heartbeat for the first time’ and showed a video Katy smiling while watching a fetal sonogram.
‘Some bump pics from before I met my Daisy Dove’ were also shared by Katy.
The Firework singer beamed while showing off her baby bump in several stylish maternity outfits.
Katy and Orlando welcomed Daisy Dove in August 2020.
Orlando and Katy have been engaged since February 2019.
