Kerry Washington and Nnamdi Asomugha stepped out in style as the Scandal alum, 47, and Asomugha, 42, brightened the streets of New York City with pops of color as they headed to Ralph Lauren’s show, People magazine reports.
During the event, the iconic designer debuted his Fall/Holiday 2024 collection.
Washington strolled into the fashion show with a teal blouse that featured a plunging neckline covered in layered necklaces from Type Jewelry. She paired the sultry look with a high-waisted shimmery skirt made complete with a head-turning middle-front slit.
The actress topped off her look with a wide copper belt, with the Ralph Lauren logo front and center. She also wore matching rings on her index fingers and dark gold Jimmy Choo stilettos. Her hair was parted down the middle and braided into a waist-length ponytail.

She gave fans an up-close look at her ensemble via Instagram, writing the caption, “Polos and Ponies Thank you @ralphlauren .”
Though Asomugha’s look was sleek and classic, he also delivered a pop of color with a blue suit, a matching tie with brown loafers.
The pair’s sighting comes just weeks after they enjoyed a date night out at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. For that event, Kerry Washington stepped out in a black strapless Giambattista Valli gown that had a tulle overskirt. She also wore a diamond choker and matching earrings, with her hair styled into a high ponytail.
The retired NFL player turned actor also complemented Washington’s look with a black tuxedo and bow tie.
Washington and Asomugha tied the knot in a secret ceremony in June 2013. Months before their milestone 10th anniversary, Washington teased that their celebration would be just as “secretive” as their wedding.
“I do have an incredible husband,” Washington told Entertainment Tonight last March. “Do you remember how secret my wedding was? How private and secretive it was? That’s how the anniversary is gonna be too!”
The two welcomed their first child together, daughter Isabelle, in 2014, and their second child, son Caleb, two years later. Washington is also stepmom to Asomugha’s teenage daughter from a previous relationship.
