Nigerian Nollywood actress, Monalisa Chinda-Coker shares a sweet photo of her daughter and herself stepping out in a matching outfit for a Saturday outing in Lagos.
The 44-year-old actress and her 10-year-old daughter are doing the stylish mother-daughter duo in a lovely Ankara fabric, which she accessorized with her signature sunglasses, a lovely handbag and a well-tied headscarf from the same fabric, to match.
Monalisa Chinda who shared series of photos of her mother-daughter duo late Saturday night with them wearing a matching outfit made from an Ankara fabric, posing outside of an event centre, told her followers on her Instagram page that this was their outfit on Saturday for an outing she did not specify.
This also will not be the first time the beautiful actress will be sharing photos of her daughter and herself spotting a matching outfit, as their mother-daughter relationship which they constantly display on social media, has been one of those envied by many, especially her fans and followers on social media.
Mrs Monalisa Chinda-Coker, who is also a filming producer, and seen beaming with smiles in these photos, is currently facing a two-count charge of failure to file annual tax returns and failure to pay income tax in respect of her company, Monalisa Code Productions.
According to the charge marked LD/5712c/2017, Monalisa Code Productions carries on its business from Lekki in Lagos.
On January 21 2019, an order for her arrest was issued by a Lagos Court, following an application made by the Lagos State Ministry of Justice.
The state submitted that the defendant repeatedly failed to honour court summons since 2017 when the charge was filed.
The prosecutor said the defendant failed to file annual tax returns and pay income tax in respect of her company, to the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service, for six years.
According to the state, Monalisa Code Productions carries out its business from Lekki in Lagos State.
The alleged offences contravened Section 94(1) of the Personal Income Tax Act 2004 (as amended) and Section 56 of the Lagos State Revenue Administrative Law of 2006.
The Court has fixed October 10, 2019, for the trial of Monalisa Chinda-Coker, over the alleged tax evasion
