CBN Denies Plans To Convert $30bn Domiciliary Deposits To Naira

Following the dissolution of the Board and Management of Union Bank, Keystone Bank, and Polaris Bank on Wednesday, the Central Bank of Nigeria has appointed new executives to oversee the affairs of these banks.

Yetunde Oni was appointed Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Union Bank, and Mannir Ubali Ringim as the Executive Director, while Hassan Imam was named Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Keystone Bank, and Chioma A. Mang as Executive Director. Lawal Murdathir Omokayode Akintola is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Polaris Bank and Chris Onyeka Ofikulu is the Executive Director.
The appointment according to the statement released by CBN takes immediate effort
