Anambra First Lady, Nonye Soludo is celebrating the posthumous birthday of her late father-in-law, Pa Soludo, today 11th Saturday, November 2023.
Nonye Soludo who is still in mourning with the other Soludo family members, took to her official social media handle to post a photo of her late father-in-law and the father of Governor Charles Soludo, with a caption that reads:
“Happy posthumous birthday to my late father-in-law, Pa Simeon Nwankwo Soludo (Ichie Akukanawa) 11/11 was always a special day for you, and I wish you were here to experience all the love once again. You will continue to be in our hearts, Papa Keep resting in God’s heart, Ichie Akukanawa. We miss you. Happy birthday!” she said.
The post by Nonye Soludo comes just a few days after the death of Pa Simeon Soludo. He died in the early hours of Monday after an illness.
A statement released on Monday by the governor’s Press Secretary, Christian Aburime confirmed the death of Pa Soludo.
Aburime said the deceased died at age 92.
He said, “Pa Soludo is survived by seven sons, eight daughters-in-law, twenty-two grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
“Governor Soludo noted that his late father lived a fulfilled life and died at the ripe age of ninety-two years (92).
“Further information will be communicated to the public in due course.”
