Eight Suspected Internet Fraudsters Nabbed In Ogun

Operatives of the Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested eight suspected internet fraudsters in the Giwa Oke- Aro area of Ogun State.

The names of the eight suspected internet fraudsters are: Michelle Adesunloye Segun; Musa Kunle Ige; Lawrence Oladayo Oyeyiga; Ademide Tobi Aroyehun; Adebisi David Olalekun; Emmanuel Oluwapelumi O;
Opadotun Truth Segun and Ogundare Mayowa Babatunde.

The suspects were arrested on Monday, May 15, 2023 during a sting operation at Abosede Akinlaja Street, Giwa Oke-Aro, Ogun State, following credible intelligence on the activities of some young boys involved in computer-related fraud.

Upon their arrest, three vehicles, laptop computers and iPhone devices were recovered from them.

The suspects will be charged to court once investigations have been concluded.
