Musa Gwadabe: Ex-Minister Of Labour Dies At 87

A former Minister of Labour and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Musa Gwadabe, is dead.

Musa Gwadabe died on Wednesday morning at the age of 87 after a protracted illness at a Kano hospital, according to family sources.

Gwadabe was also a former Secretary to the State Government (SSG) in Kano.

In a statement released by the Kano state Government on the death of Musa Gwadabe, Governor Ganduje described the death as an extremely disturbing experience.

Gwadabe according to the Governor, was one of the principled politicians the nation is proud of, adding that “His love for his people created a corridor for him to be so endeared to his people, both in the state and in the country at large.”

The funeral rites will be observed at his residence on Ado Madaka road in Kano by 2pm Wednesday (today).

He is survived by two wives, 11 children and grandchildren.

Among his children is Alhaji Nazifi Musa Gwadabe, a contractor in Kano.
