An Ikoyi Chef identified as Wilfred Amoussou notorious in using Benzodiazepines to sedate his employers and steal their valuables, has been arrested by the Police, the Lagos state Police Command reports.
According to the statement released on Thursday 23rd February 2023 by the spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin stated that Wilfred Amoussou would take up a job as cook/chef, and heavily sedate his employers with Benzodiazepines and steal their valuables.
Hundeyin disclosed that the suspect had perpetrated the evils in the past years in Ikoyi, Banana Island and Parkview Estate, all posh neighbourhoods in Lagos State.
The Lagos Police Public Relations Officer SP Benjamin Hundeyin who revealed that the suspect has been detained at the Ikoyi Police Division of the command, also stated that some of his past victims have come forward to identify him.
“Have you been a victim? If yes, proceed to Ikoyi Police Division for further necessary action,” he asked.
