English Premier League club side, Chelsea seems not to be done with their January transfer signings, as they are reported to have held a verbal agreement with Dutch side PSV for England U-21 star, Noni Madueke.
According to the report by renowned football journalist and breaker of football transfer deals, Fabrizio Romano, the deal to bring midfielder Noni Madueke to Chelsea, seems to be nearing its final stages, as both clubs and player are willing to see the deal through.
Fabrizio in his report, stated that Noni Madueke to Chelsea have been agreed, and it is going to be a permanent deal around €35m package.
Madueke who is reported to be ‘strongly wanted’ by Chelsea board, will sign long term deal in few days. And Contracts are being prepared. He will be travelling to London for his medicals, in a few days, if not hours.
The move to west London would represent a homecoming after Madueke started his career at Crystal Palace before joining Tottenham and then moving to the Netherlands to further his development.
Madueke can play on either wing, but the left-footed attack prefers to play from the right.
If the talks are finalised, it will be the Blues’ 15th major signing of the season and sixth this month.
Chelsea will hope he can improve a run of form that has seen the team win just one of their last 10 games, leaving the club 10th in the Premier League and 10 points behind fourth-placed Newcastle.
