There has been a report of a gunfire at the Hot Tallahassee Yoga Studio, as an unidentified man was reported to have possibly shot and killed one person, and himself, after he opened fire at the Yoga Studio, wounding about six people in the process. This was according to the statement by Tallahassee Police Chief, Michael DeLeo on Friday.
Also spokeswoman for Tallahassee Memorial Health Care, Danielle Buchanan while commenting on the incident and those wounded in the incident, said that the injured have been taken to the Hospital, as one person is in critical condition, three are serious, and are two in good condition, and One of those taken to the hospital died.
The City spokeswoman Alison Faris confirmed that the shooter is dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound after the evening shooting, saying there were 11 people signed up for the 5:30 p.m. hot yoga flow class and one canceled earlier in the day, and the class instructor is said to have been uninjured.
“As we process the gut-wrenching act of violence that took place this evening in a place of peace in our community, we hold in our hearts everyone who is affected and lift them up in love,” officials tweeted from the city’s verified account.
