The Delta State Police Command Tuesday confirmed that they have arrested the 27-year-old murder suspect Kome Ogaga, who allegedly shot and killed an 11-year-old Hosanna Merritt in Ozoro area of Delta State.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer DSP Bright Edafe who made this known on Tuesday 30th August 2022, stated that the suspect Kome Ogaga who was declared wanted a few days ago, was brought to the station earlier Tuesday by a relative after he saw the Police wanted man social media post on Twitter.
According to DSP Bright Edafe, Kome Ogaga who shot and killed 11-Year-Old Hossanna Merritt, while testing his locally made gun, shaved his hair so that it will be difficult to recognise him, after being declared wanted for murder.
“The command has arrested the suspect Kome Ogaga who shot and killed 11year old hosanna in Ozoro on 22/8/2022. He was brought to the station today by a relative after he saw our tweet that went viral. Thanks to everyone who retweeted. The little boy will get justice for sure now,” DSP Bright Edafe said.
The Suspect:
DSP Bright Edafe had on Monday 26th August 2022, through the Command, declared a manhunt for the suspect, where he stated that the ugly incident happened on Monday 22nd August 2022 in Delta state.
The Delta state Police Public Relations Officer putting up the photos of the suspect stated that the suspect while testing a locally made gun, shot and killed the 11-year-old boy Hossanna Merritt.
“The suspect abandoned his house and ran away. Please whoever knows his whereabouts should help so that the little boy can get justice,” the PRO had said then.
