Operatives attached to the Lagos State Police Command Surulere Division, have arrested two suspected one-chance robbers operating along the Funsho Williams Avenue area of the state, the State Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin reveals.
According to the statement released on Wednesday 24th August 2022, by SP Benjamin Hundeyin, he gave the identity of the arrested two suspected one-chance robbers as Usman Hussani, aged 21, and Ebuka Ukechukwu, aged 25.
The suspected one-chance members were said to have been arrested by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command, following a distress call received from a victim shortly after he was dispossessed of his phone and other valuables.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin in his statement, revealed that items recovered from the two members of one-chance members were 2 mobile phones, 2 SIM cards, one Sterling Bank ATM card, one UBA cheque booklet belonging to Ugochukwu ( other names withheld) and one brand new tricycle with registration number LSD 360 QN used by the gang.
“Suspects will be arraigned once investigations are concluded. The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, fdc hereby encourages residents of Lagos state to always remain vigilant and keen-eyed, especially when boarding public vehicles,” SP Hundeyin added.
