Chrisland Schools has confirmed the suspension of a 10-year-old female student who was allegedly raped, recorded and the assault video shared on Instagram.
The school said the student was suspended for participating in a ‘truth or dare game’ in Dubai which led to some improper act.
The school authorities in a letter described the young scholar’s conduct as “improper behaviour” after playing the truth-or-dare game, describing her as a “major participant.”
Specifically, the 10-year-old girl, whose identity was withheld, was among the coterie of students who represented the Lagos State-based school at the World School Games in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates between March 10-13, 2022.
The school’s impeccable performance at the event drew public commendation and praise after it won about 34 medals.
However, in the newly released document signed by its headteacher, Georgia Azike, the female scholar allegedly instigated controversy in the school’s camp after ‘lights out’ instructions were given.
“In line with our core values centred on discipline, Chrisland Schools have zero tolerance for any improper behaviour and misconduct,” the letter reads.
“Consequently, [name redacted) is hereby placed on indefinite suspension until you as the parents ensure that she is punished, adequately counselled, and rehabilitated,” the school said.

Nigerian music executive Ubi Franklin who first tweeted the incident on Sunday narrated how his friend’s 10-year-old daughter was sexually molested, recorded and the video shared on Instagram.
The Made Men Music co-founder made this known via his Twitter page on Sunday, April 17, 2022.
He mentioned in his post that the parents of the young lady, a student of Chrisland School, VGC, Lagos, only found out after the video was shared on Instagram.
“Just got off the phone with a friend of mine His 10-year-old daughter was selected to represent her school at the World School Games in Dubai. His daughter was r**ped by fellow students, video tapped and posted on Instagram, and the school concealed it for a month,” he tweeted.
While updating the tweets, the Triple MG head honcho revealed that the school has since suspended the child.
He continued:
“This school took the girl from her parents that they wanted to conduct a Covid test and the school rather took the girl for a pregnancy test. As we speak the girl has been SUSPENDED from the school. Some things don’t make sense at all,” he said.
Ubi Franklin’s revelation is coming only a few months after 12-year-old Dowen College scholar, Sylvester Oromoni died under controversial circumstances in his school.
