The Peoples Democratic Party has challenged the Vice President Of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo to name those he claimed stole over $3billion under the former President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
This is coming after it was alleged that the Vice President made yet another allegation against the past government that some of those working for former President Jonathan looted over $3billion American Dollars.
The opposition party as expected was never going to let that fly without responding in like manner, as they released a statement challenging the Vice President and the ruling Party, and the All Progressives Congress in a series of messages via their social media page, through their publicity secretary to mention names.
The statement reads:
We challenge the Vice President Professor Osinbajo to stop bandying figures and name the three persons he claimed stole the sum of $3bn under the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
The Vice President Professor Osinbajo is a professor of law and ought to know that patriotism demands that he should not make unsubstantiated claims but to place the names of such Nigerians in public.
It is particularly improper for the occupant of the exalted office of the Vice President Professor Osinbajo of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to engage in smear campaign and making unsubstantiated statements just for political reasons.
This will not be the first time the vice president will be taking a swipe at the PDP, and with the new allegation, it will not be long now, we will see another looted list published by the APC.
