President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed sadness over the news of the death of Alhaji Ilyasu Adamu, Tafidan Kazaure.
The President in a condolence message by his spokesman, Malam Garba Shehu, on Monday in Abuja, the president extended heartfelt condolences to the Kazaure Emirate Council in Jigawa State, as well as the family of Adamu, on the passing of Alhaji Ilyasu Adamu, Tafidan Kazaure.
The President joined them in praying for the repose of the soul of the departed community leader and retired Deputy Director, Social Services, in the Ministry Health and Social Development, Jigawa State.
‘‘The humanitarian initiatives of the late Tafidan Kazaure greatly endeared him to the people and his wise and godly counsel will be greatly missed by those who came in direct contact with him in Jigawa State and beyond.
‘‘May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus,’’ said the President.
The late Tafida was the eldest living son of the Late Emir of Kazaure Alhaji Adamu Abdulmumin who reigned between 1941 and 1968.
