The total number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Nigeria as at Thursday 30th July 2020, is put at 42,689 by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). This figure was reported by the centre, while also confirming 481 new cases of the virus on Thursday.
According to the statement posted on the official social media handle of the NCDC, as at Thursday 30th July 2020, the centre reported 481 new cases across some states of the federation. The 481 new cases, were recorded in 15 states of the Federation, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The NCDC on their official social media handle reported that while a total of 42,689 cases has so far been recorded in Nigeria, 19,270 discharged 878 and deaths reported as at Thursday 30th July 2020.
