The Ogun state Commissioner of Information in the administration of Governor Ibikunle Amosun, Mr Dayo Adeneye popularly known as D1 has declared his intention to run for the Federal House Of Representative under the All Progressives Congress.
The former radio and TV presenter and co-owner of a music record label made this known through his social media page yesterday.
Mr Adeneye who has never hidden his plans to go to continue his political career at the federal level, is looking to run and represent Ijebu Central in the Federal House of Representatives.
Putting up a photo of a bus with his poster he said:
My dear friends,
Having succumbed to the wishes of my constituents in Ogun state I have decided to throw my hat in the ring and contest for a seat in the House of Representatives come 2019.
