The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported and confirmed a total of 1424 new COVID-19 cases in Nigeria on Wednesday.
The health agency in their daily update on Wednesday 15th December 2021, reported that a total of 1424 new COVID-19 cases were recorded across States in the federation, including the Federal Capital Territory, with Lagos recording the highest number of confirmed cases on Wednesday.
From the 1424 new COVID-19 cases confirmed on Wednesday, there was no death recorded by the health agency, which is a piece of good news.
The data released on Wednesday by the NCDC shows that to date, a total of 220,020 cases have been confirmed, and a total of 211,292 cases have been discharged and 2983 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

Today’s report includes, according to the NCDC, shows that the
153 cases reported for Delta state are from 13th (13), and 14th (139) December 2021 while a 0 case was reported from Bauchi, Ekiti, Osun and Zamfara States
