Afropop star Yemi Alade is about to join thousands of celebrities both home and abroad who have taken to fashion as yet another side hustle, as the ‘Looking For My Johnny’ music crooner took to her official social media handle on Sunday 10th October 2021, to tell millions of her fans that she is launching her clothing line soon and hopes they buy from her.
The Afropop singer Yemi Alade who has always been a fan of showing off and speaking up about her Africa root in with her fashion styles and signing on social media that even earned her the name ‘Mama Africa’ posting a photo of her from her tour in the United States, captioned the photos saying:
“Get ready to buy my clothing line Too,” she said.
She had said this while helping to promote another fashion brand on her social media handle on Sunday.
Her statement on her soon to be launched clothing line, is coming a few weeks after her friend and Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels launched her own fashion brand she calls RD.
This will be the first time Yemi Alade after years of wowing us with her great sense of style and electric dance moves since her breakthrough song ‘Johnny’ in 2013, will be opening up about launching a clothing line. The decision is coming after fans all over the world have been questioning her on why she has not been cashing in on all that beauty and great sense of style.
Aside from her singing, this will be the first time Afropop star Yemi Alade will be publicly announcing any new business ventures. And her breaking news on Sunday on her Instagram account have seen friends, colleagues and her fans praising her for the move, even though she is yet to unveil the clothing line.
