An Oyo State High Court judge, Justice Ladiran Akintola of Oyo State High Court on Friday, lambasted the Department of State Security (DSS) over the Sunday Igboho’s raid in Ibadan.
The judge also awarded the sum of N20 billion against the DSS for the Sunday Igboho’s raid, which he described as “arbitrary aggression and prejudices”.
The DSS which confirmed Igboho’s house raid on Thursday 1st July 2021, at the Soka area of Ibadan, and also displayed a cache of arms allegedly belonging to the suspected agitators and recovered from the raid, are yet to respond to this latest court judgment as at the time of this report.
