466 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Nigeria by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday.
The NCDC its daily updates on the coronavirus wave in the country, stated that aside from the 466 new cases recorded, a total of 3 deaths were also confirmed on the 10th of September 2021.
The 466 new COVID-19 cases recorded on Friday, shows that to date, a total of 198,239 cases have been confirmed, and 185,780 cases have been discharged with 2,588 deaths recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The 466 new cases were reported from 13 states, and here is the breakdown of the distributions across the states:

According to the agency, a multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
