Eniola Ajala of Lafiaji High School, Lagos Island has emerged as ‘One-Day’ Governor of Lagos State. She was accompanied to the Governor’s office on Friday, by some members of her family and were received by Governor Sanwo-Olu.
The Governor who received Eniola Ajala and confirmed her as a one-day Governor of the state, for wining the State’s Spelling Bee competition, praised her for her attentiveness, attitude and awareness of issues that affect the State.
Governor Sanwo-Olu in a series of photos shared on his official social media handle of Miss Eniola and himself captioned the photos with:
“Say hello to ‘Miss Governor’ Eniola Ajala, the one day Governor of Lagos State. She is a student of Lafiaji High School, Lagos Island and won a state-wide spelling bee competition. I am impressed with her attentiveness, attitude and awareness of issues that affect the State.
These initiatives encourage students to show an interest in governance, leadership and team work. They promote healthy academic rivalry among students and enhance their spelling, vocabulary and public speaking abilities,” the governor said.
