One person has been confirmed dead, as a loaded gas truck fails it’s break and rammed into a building in the Odo Obasanjo along AIT road in Lagos state.

According to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority(LASTMA) which broke the news a few hours ago, the rcovery of the fallen loaded gas truck at Odo Obasanjo along AIT road Kola Alakuko on Monday 3rd June 2019, has been completed after successful transloading.

The statement also said that it’s officials are also managing traffic situation throughout the recovery.

Also, another accident management team which were on the spot of the accident alongside the Lagos state fire service, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) put out an update on the recovery process on the scene of the accident, where they have completed the recovery, and confirmed the dead of one person from the accident.

The statement released reads:

We received a distress call Monday 3rd of June 2019 regarding an accident involving a gas containerized truck which had brake failure and rammed into a bungalow.

An adult male died at the scene of the incident. We proceeded to: – Cordon off the area to prevent a secondary incident. -Traffic control to ease vehicular movement around the incident area. – Blanket the truck to avert a secondary incident. See more images:
