The 317 abducted Zamfara schoolgirls have regained their freedom and taken to the Palace of the Emir of Anka for onward transportation to Gusau, the state capital.
No official statement has been issued by the government on this latest development on the abducted Zamfara schoolgirls, as unconfirmed reports stated that the girls were released on Sunday.
The school girls from the Government Secondary School Jangebe in Zamfara state, were abducted by bandits on Thursday night.
