Pfizer COVID Vaccine Approved By EU Medicines Regulator Bodies

The Pfizer COVID vaccine has been approved by Europe’s medicines regulator on Monday, as the world prepares for the second wave of the virus.

The approval of the Pfizer COVID vaccine by the E.U, puts Europe on course to start inoculations within a week.

European Union countries including Germany, Austria and Italy have said they plan to start vaccinations from Dec. 27 as Europe tries to catch up with the United States and Britain where the roll-out began earlier this month.

Meanwhile, the European Union has banned all travels from the United Kingdom, after a ‘mutant’ strain of Covid-19 was identified.

But trucks and lorries have been exempt from the EU travel ban imposed on the UK until Tuesday midnight.
