I Am Not Going To Speak For Pogba - Ole Reacts To Raiola's Claims

Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reacted to Mino Raiola’s claims saying Paul Pogba’s time at the Old Trafford is over, following constant criticisms from fans and ex-players.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer whose side suffered a UEFA Champions League defeat in the hands of RB Leipzig, and therefore knocked out of the competition, while answering questions on agent Mino Raiola’s allegations on Paul Pogba, said he is not the one to speak for Paul Pogba.

He said: “As soon as Pogba’s agent realises it is a team sport the better. I don’t want to spend energy on that. You have to ask Paul if he is happy or not, I’m not going to speak for him. Paul is focused on doing his best for the team,” he added.

Mino Raiola’s statement was made in an interview, where he told Tuttosport that:

‘I can say that it’s over for Paul Pogba at Manchester United,’

‘He [Pogba] has a contract [with Manchester United] that will expire in a year and a half, in the summer of 2022, but I think the best solution for the parties is to sell him in the next market. ‘Paul [Pogba] is unhappy. He is no longer able to express himself as he would like and as expected of him.’

Pogba had been keen to stay at Old Trafford after returning from injury in July following the pandemic. However, he’s struggled for form and fitness this term and he openly admitted his ‘dream’ to join Real Madrid during the last international break.

Earlier this summer, Raiola had intimated that his client was happy to sign a new deal and had no plans to leave the club. ‘Pogba is a key player for Man United,’ said Raiola.

‘They’ve an important project and he’s 100% included. Man United will not accept any bid to sell Pogba. We’re going to speak about a new contract soon, no stress’
