The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has named his newborn, Prince Adesoji Aderemi Eri-Ifeoluwasimi.
The Ooni who some few weeks ago, announced the arrival of his first child with his wife, Queen Moronke Naomi, welcomed them to the Palace of Oduduwa, as he marks his 5th year on the throne.
The newborn, Prince Adesoji Aderemi Eri-Ifeoluwasimi was named after Oba Titus Martins Adesoji Tadeniawo Aderemi (Atobatele I), who ruled from 1930 until 1980.
The Ooni had on Wednesday 18th November 2020, taken to his official Twitter handle to announced to the world the arrival of Prince Adesoji AderemiEri-Ifeoluwasimi, who just like Titus Martins Adesoji Tadeniawo Aderemi (Atobatele I), was also born in November.
In making the announcement, the Ooni shared a lovely photo of his wife, Queen Moronke Naomi and himself, with a caption announcing the arrival of the Prince of Ile Ife. He tweeted saying:
“To God be the glory great things he has done. Hearty congratulations to the entire House of Oduduwa and Olori Silekunola who today birthed a Prince to the Royal throne of Oduduwa,” he had said.
He also said Queen Moronke Naomi and their newborn, now Prince Adesoji AderemiEri-Ifeoluwasimi,were doing well: ,“Mother and child are doing well to the glory of God Almighty,” he added.
