Lille man, Gabriel Magalhaes is due to arrive London anytime this week, to complete his deal to join north London club, Arsenal. This comes after Arsenal and Lille agreed to a £27million transfer deal with the Brazilian defender.
Although the deal for Gabriel Magalhaes is yet to be reported by Arsenal and Lille, but reports have it that it is already a done deal, as the London club are only awaiting the Brazilian to pass his medicals. He will also be quarantined before joining other of his new teammates.
The Brazilian centre half has been a man in demand this summer with a host of clubs across Europe interested in signing the 22-year-old, including Manchester United and Napoli.
The coronavirus could delay Gabriel Magalhaes as recently there has been a spike in coronavirus cases across France, and a country on Britain’s quarantine list, meaning anyone coming to the UK from the country has to self-isolate for 14 days.
