Former Everton Boss, Ronald Koeman has just arrived Barcelona, ahead of his confirmation and unveiling as the new manager of Barcelona, the club of Lionel Messi.
Ronald Koeman who has been for weeks, linked with the Barcelona top job, was photographed touching down at the El Prat Airport, spotting a mask as reports in Spain are saying that he will be announced as the new manager of Barcelona this afternoon.
The 57-year-old will leave his position as manager of the Dutch national team.
This news is also coming a day after the sacking of Setien after losing 8-2 to Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
As a player Koeman was at Barcelona between 1989 and 1995. He won the European Cup in 1992 and also won the league four times in succession.
He later returned to the club as assistant coach, a position he held between 1998 and 2000.
Koeman has managed a wide range of clubs including Ajax, Benfica, PSV, Southampton and Everton.
