Madonna sparked engagement rumors with her boyfriend Akeem Morris as she shared a number of photos with him while rocking a diamond ring on her left finger, Daily Mail reports.
Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice her sparkly new accessory, which she put on full display as she proudly flashed it toward the camera in multiple images.
In one photo, Madonna held up her new piece of bling while walking down a hallway with her man, 28, following a night out.
Other snaps featured the loved-up duo hitting the dance floor and the Like a Prayer hitmaker sharing a sweet hug with her daughter.
‘”I have been to hell and back and let me tell you it was wonderful!” she captioned her post. ‘I saw this phrase At a Louise Bourgeois exhibition in Tokyo on New Year’s Eve. She took the words right out of my mouth.. To be a Mother and an Artist- Equal parts, joy, and suffering.’
Madonna continued: ‘I can’t imagine living any other life- Here’s to more Love- To happy children-to magical thinking-to good health and eternal blessings. Morris is a former college soccer player and political science graduate from Stony Brook University.
The 28-year-old met the pop icon back in August of 2022.
They were not romantically linked until July 2024 after Madonna posted photos of them cuddling on social media.
The couple recently rekindled their romance just weeks after reportedly calling it quits in October.
His return marks another chapter in Madonna’s high-profile love life, which has included boxer Joshua Popper and dancer Ahlamalik Williams.
She has been married twice.
First to actor Sean Penn from 1985 to 1989 and later to director Guy Ritchie from 2000 to 2008.
In 2022, Madonna said she regretted both her marriages.
The singer previously said in a 2015 interview with The Sun that, at times, she ‘felt incarcerated’ during her marriage to Penn.
‘I wasn’t really allowed to be myself,’ she told the outlet. ‘You’ve got to find someone who accepts who you are and is comfortable with that.’
Meanwhile, she compared her marriage to Ritchie as a ‘soap opera’ to Details magazine in 2011.
It’s definitely not something I regret… The experience was ultimately very positive. I love the kids [Rocco Ritchie and David Banda ] and that came out of it, and I could see no other route to take,’ she concluded.
