The Europa League draws are out, as the European second-tier competitions return for yet another exciting games every Thursdays. The likes of Arsenal and Manchester United, unfortunately, are in this category, while Manchester United are returning to the competition, Arsenal who finished as runners up last season, will be hoping to finally lift the cup this time around.
The Europa league draws which were released a few hours ago, saw three English Premier League teams, such as previous winners, Manchester United, Wolves and last season runners up, Arsenal all getting an interesting group, as they will be looking to emulate last season’s winners Chelsea to lift the cup for next season’s Champions League spot.
Chelsea won it last time, and given how this season has gone so far in the English Premier League, and given the bench of these teams, it will be a difficult task for anyone of Arsenal and Manchester United, even Wolves to play every Thursday and compete favourably well in the local League as against those teams that would be playing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the Champions League.
A very big task ahead for Manchester United especially, as they will be travelling long distance compared to other teams. The trip to Astana, for example, will be one that would worry Ole Gunnar Solskjær and his players and could impact their season negatively.
