American rapper now turned born again Christian and gospel singer, Kanye West has kicked off his Presidential campaign, and in a typical Kanye West style, stunned his crowd when he revealed how he stopped his wife, Kim Kardashian from aborting their daughter, North.
Kanye West during the Presidential campaign rally over the weekend, broke down in tears while delivering a lengthy monologue on topics including abortion and international trade at his first presidential campaign rally.
The rapper who held a surprise event in South Carolina to officially launch his bid for the White House on Sunday revealed more than needed.
One of the shocking moments during the campaign rally, was when Kanye revealed in a hysterical rant that he and Kim Kardashian ‘nearly’ made a decision to abort their first pregnancy.
He claimed Kardashian was crying on the phone when she first revealed to the rapper that she was pregnant with their daughter, North. He says the couple considered abortion, but shortly after he got a message from God.
“Everything on my computer went black and white,” Kanye said. Adding “God said ‘If you f–k with my vision I’m gonna f–k with yours.”At that point, Kanye says Kim called back and said “we’re gonna have this child.”
He continued by adding that if Kim Kardashian decides to divorce him, “she brought North into this world when I didn’t want to.”
“I almost killed my daughter,” Kanye screamed while sobbing uncontrollably. Repeating the phrase several times while the stunned crowd watched.
He also added that all new mothers should be given $1 million after giving birth, while also saying that his father wanted to abort him as a fetus and claimed his mother ‘saved his life’ by deciding to go through with the pregnancy.
“My dad wanted to abort me!” he yelled during the event.
“There would have been no Kanye West because my dad was too busy.”
He went further to say that historical civil rights figure and one of the most respected figures of 19th century America, Harriet Tubman, “never actually freed the slaves, she just had them work for other white people”.
Harriet Tubman, was an African American who escaped slavery and helped enslaved black men and women travel north to freedom and fought for the Union during the Civil War. She later became a supporter of women’s suffrage.
Kanye West’s comment about Harriet Tubman during his Presidential campaign rally did not go down well with a lot of Americans, as they took to social media to register their disdain and troll the rapper and his family.
A lot of the comments made references to his mental health and his fitness to stand as the President of the United States.
