Drake celebrates his son, Adonis second birthday, as he goes all out with huge golden balloons decoration to mark the day. This comes a few days after he alleged that his own father was an absentee father.
Drake in his celebratory mood, took to his Instagram page to share a photo from inside his new Toronto mansion. He showed off gold balloons that spelt out Adonis, along with a Sesame Street-inspired art piece.
Drake captioned the post with this message to Adonis: “Happy Birthday King 💙”.
The photo also saw to the left-hand side, a big flower arrangement in the shape of the Cookie Monster.
Drake post was flooded by birthday wishes from Drake’s fans and fellow entertainers. DJ Khaled, Ty Dolla Sign, Bun B, and La La Anthony were some of the celebrities who showed love. Adonis was born on October 24, 2017.
Earlier today, Sophie Brussaux, the mother of Drake’s son, shared throwback photos from her pregnancy.
In the snap, Brussaux is posing in front of the mirror in a sleek black dress, showing off her baby bump. She captioned the post, “Today, it’s been 2 years I was having 50-sec contractions every 3 min for 24 hours, man…all worth it.”
She added, “Only a handful of weeks left, over 200lbs. Looks like I’m carrying twins, but I swear I’m not.”
Brussaux has remained quite private about her son and Drake.
She is an artist who lives in Paris and enjoys painting celebrity portraits. Brussaux has shown off her artwork of Angelina Jolie, Angela Bassett, Amy Winehouse, Leonardo DiCaprio, Michelle Obama and Beyoncé. Brussaux also paints other things besides celebrities.
Brussaux is also quite the fighter and showed off her skills recently.
Brussaux and Drake have kept things peaceful and appear to be co-parenting successfully.
Back in March, Brussaux showed up to one of Drake’s Paris concerts and was given the VIP treatment.
In the photos posted, Brussaux appeared with a friend and has a VIP pass hanging around her neck. She even posted a video of her dancing from a private area of the venue.
The Toronto rapper finally confirmed the rumours on several Scorpion tracks, including “Emotionless” and “8 Out of 10.” He also spoke about being a parent and his relationship with Sophie on an episode of The Shop.
“I am a single father learning to communicate with a woman who, you know, we’ve had our moments. I do want to be able to explain to my son what happened, but I don’t have any desire to not love his mother. Or I don’t ever want the world to be angry at his mother,” he said. “We found ourselves in a situation, and we are both equally responsible. And now I’m just really excited to be a great father. I have a son, he’s a beautiful boy.“
