The First Lady of Nigeria, Mrs Aisha Buhari has on Friday, commiserated with Mrs Florence Ajimobi over the death of her husband, former Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.
Senator Abiola Ajimobi was said to have died after complications at First Cardiology Specialist Hospital, Lagos. He died on Thursday evening and was aged 70.
In a statement released on Friday 26th June 2020, on her official social media handles, the First Lady said it was with heavy hearts that the first family and herself are extending their heartfelt condolences to Mrs Florence Ajimobi and the entire Ajimobi family over the death of the Senator.
Mrs Aisha Buhari continued by saying that:
“May the soul of Senator Abiola Ajimobi rest in perfect peace and forgive his shortcomings . may the almighty Allah provide comfort to your family at this trying period. Please rest assured that my family is with you at this time of grief,” she added.
