The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed that Nigeria has recorded 313 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday 24th May 2020. The Specialist agency reported this while updating Nigerians in their daily updates on the situation reports on the novel coronavirus in the country.
The 313 new cases, was confirmed by the NCDC on their official Twitter a few hours ago. The 313 new cases according to the specialist agency, now brings the country’s total infections to 7839 out of which 2,263 have been discharged with 226 losing their lives.
Data from the NCDC showed that the new cases were spread across 12 states and the FCT with Lagos accounting for the highest number of infections for the day with 148 cases.
