The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has yet again reported 220 new cases of the novel coronavirus, as total confirmed cases in Nigeria so far now stands at 2388
The NCDC in their daily update of situation reports on their official Twitter handle on Saturday 2nd May 2020, the centre reported that 220 new cases were confirmed, and these new cases are distributed as follows across some states of the federation:

52-FCT
31-Kaduna
13-Sokoto
10-Kebbi
9-Yobe
6-Borno
5-Edo
5-Bauchi
4-Gombe
4-Enugu
4-Oyo
3-Zamfara
2-Nasarawa
2-Osun
2-Ebonyi
2-Kwara
2-Kano
2-Plateau
This was as at 11:50pm May 2nd 2020.
From the update given by NCDC, Lagos state still lead in total confirmed cases, while the likes of Kano and FCT follows according.
The NCDC also reported that as at Saturday, the total confirmed cases in Nigeria is now 2388 and total number of discharged patients is 385 while total deaths recorded so far stand at 85.
According to NCDC, as at Saturday 2nd May 2020, 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Nigeria have recorded at least one confirmed case of COVID19 71% of all cases are from three states.
