Kourtney Kardashian is quitting her family reality tv show, the popular ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ after a reported feud with her immediate younger sister, Kim Kardashian.
The bombshell from Kourtney Kardashian comes after in a recent episode of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the sisters, business partners, and mortal enemies got into a physical fight, where Kim Kardashian was questioning Kourtney’s work ethic.
In last night’s episode, the sisters reeled from the altercation and Kourtney decided to walk away from the family reality TV show.
Taking to her Twitter account, she announced that she would not be taking part in the live-tweeting part of the family reality tv show, something that most of the family does for every episode.
But, in her statement, it seems clear Kourtney will be taking a step back from the reality show to focus on her family and other businesses.
She said:
“I won’t be live-tweeting #KUWTK tonight, as I’m spending time with my kids while they are on spring break. I realize that a lot of the conversation right now surrounds my work ethic, and I feel like I need to just make one thing clear: raising children is a job as well. In fact, it’s the hardest and most rewarding job that I have ever had,” she wrote.
The ‘KUWTK’ star then dropped a bit of bombshell about her future with the reality show, and her focus going forward.
“I’ve decided to put my focus on my kids and my lifestyle brand, Poosh, which is all about finding YOUR healthy balance for living your best life,” Kourtney tweeted.
She continued, “I don’t judge anyone who chooses a different route, and I hope that everyone can appreciate my choices as well.”
“I’m definitely disappointed in myself. I don’t think that my response was matching up with what her exact comment was,” Kourtney said of the fight. Adding, “Being violent isn’t the answer, but it was just the build-up of years and months and everything.”
Kourtney revealed in the newest episode she was more upset at Khloe for not defending her in this situation. “I just feel like every day, it’s like they just pick on me and I just can’t do it anymore,” she said getting very emotional.
She continued, “I feel like I’m almost more mad at Khloe than Kim, ’cause I expect it from Kim. But, like, Khloe just takes everyone’s side, always, except for me—when I’m not even asking her opinion.”
Kourtney seemed to confirm she will not be filming in the future, saying, “I was anxious about filming this season because it doesn’t make me happy. I don’t want to miss out on time with my kids and it’s not worth it.
