Fans are expressing mixed reactions to Mo Salah’s family Christmas photos, which he had shared on his social media handle to celebrate the birth of Jesus with his Christian fans .

While some of his fans expressed worry and sadness over the Mo Salah’s family photos, others from their tweets seem to be praising the Liverpool forward for his decision to celebrate Christmas, even when he is a devoted Muslim.

Some argued that Mo Salah’s family Christmas photos are Haram. Those in support of the Liverpool man, argued that his decision to post the photos and celebrate Christmas does not make him a Christian or going against Islam, as Religion itself is Haram.

Also, this will not be the first time Mo Salah will get dragged, as every year, he gets mocked for putting up a Christmas tree or celebrating Christmas. But from all the photos he has shared even with the sad comments, his family and himself always look happy as they enjoy the holiday.

Here are some of the reactions:

I will say it and keep saying it, if we take religion out of our life the world will be a better place, religion is not peace even though they preach peace, religion contributes to brought hatred on humanity, and humans have been doing well before it came. Religion is the haram.

Isa Ibn Maryam is an important prophet in Islam right ? His mother Mariam is the only woman who have an entire Surah on her in Quran right ? She is blessed for giving birth to this child on this day right? So why a Muslim should not celebrate Christmas ?

Perfect reaction. People need to realise we don’t hate Christmas but being supportive of it is a major sin in Islam. It’s basically shirk!!

No compulsion in Islamic religion and it should be practised wholly What he displayed there seem more hypocritical and confusing. One do not need to perform other people’s religious rite as a way to greet or congratulate them. Peace unto you!
