Burna Boy just cannot stop making history and breaking new grounds, just like the ‘African Giant’ that he is, as he clinched yet another achievement in his musical career, with his song ‘On The Low’ reported to have been certified Gold in France.
The Nigerian and one-time Grammy nominee is without a doubt, one of the best exports from Africa, in terms of music and that man that has joined millions of Nigerians both within and outside the country promoting the culture of not just Nigeria, but Africa,to the world audience. All these and many others, landing him a Grammy nomination, and some other international awards.
To be certified Gold is one thing, but for your music or song to be certified Gold in a French-speaking country, is a huge achievement, and France has been one of the places in the world where he has a huge following, and Gold plague is a testament to that.

The music single ‘On The Low’ which is no doubt one of the biggest songs in the African Giant Album released in 2019, was first released as a music single on November 16, 2018, before it was added to the African Giant Album.
The album was also supported by such music singles as ‘Gbona’, ‘Killin Dem”, “Dangote”, “Anybody” and “Pull Up”. It won Album of the Year at the 2019 All Africa Music Awards and was nominated for Best World Music Album at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards.
In the music parlance, for your music single to be certified gold, it means such a music single has received sales of one million units.
…Big Congratulations to the AFRICAN GIANT!!
