Super Bowl LIV: Beyonce And JayZ Accused Of Sitting During Anthem

Beyonce and her husband JayZ have been accused of not standing up during the national anthem at Sunday’s Super Bowl LIV.

Jayz who is a big partner of the NFL and one who tried to mediate between the NFL and some aggrieved players, especially that of Colin Kaepernick was spotted with his family sitting during Demi Lovato‘s performance at the Super Bowl LIV.

It is not clear why the Carters did not bother to stand, given how JayZ has defended the NFL after he teamed up with the league to shine a light on police brutality, the criminal justice system and other causes important to him and the black community. But others around them stood for the national anthem, even their bodyguard was standing during the Anthem at the Super Bowl LIV.

The move by the Carters comes just a few days after Jayz denied that hadn’t betrayed Colin Kaepernick and was getting to the same destination on a different route.

Jay-Z said he believes he and Colin Kaepernick have the same goal but different strategies.

The New York Times published an article with Hov where he addresses his alliance with the NFL and how it has soured some people’s perception of him. Jigga is treating the naysayers like dirt on his shoulder when it comes to the overall mission of helping the disenfranchised

“As long as real people are being hurt and marginalized and losing family members, then yes, I can take a couple of rounds of negative press,” Jay said.

“No one is saying [Kaepernick] hasn’t been done wrong,” Jay-Z said. “He was done wrong. I would understand if it was three months ago. But it was three years ago and someone needs to say, ‘What do we do now — because people are still dying?’”

“We are two adult men who disagree on the tactic but are marching for the same cause,” Jay-Z told The Times.
