French forward, Wissam Ben Yedder has penned an emotional farewell message to Sevilla club owners and fans, as he makes his way back to the French Ligue1, with a move to AS Monaco.
Wissam Ben Yedder who was unveiled a few hours ago, had three fantastic seasons with Spanish and Laliga side, Sevilla, becoming the third all-time leading goal scorer in the club, with 70 goals in 138 matches. This was almost same statistics he had with his former French club, Toulouse, where he scored 70 goals in 169 games, but for four seasons.
The French man who has enjoyed good times at Sevilla, especially in Europe, taking to his Instagram page on Tuesday, put out this message to thank the fans. He said:
“Dear Sevillistas .. It is with great emotion that I must tell you this: it is time to leave Seville. A unique club, which has brought me for 3 years the greatest joys of my football career.
It only took me a few days to adopt me as his “Miarma”, but it took me 3 seasons and more than 70 goals to deserve it. It is thanks to the fervor of this great football city and the incomparable atmosphere of Sánchez Pizjuán that I could also become the player that you liked to applaud. Playing here in front of you was a unique experience for me and I hope a little for you too.
Thanks to this special shirt I have been able to realize my dream of wearing another one: that of the France team. Thanks to this shirt I have been able to become a respected European striker.
It has not always been easy, because the results have not always been as good as this hobby deserves. I’m leaving today with a bit of nostalgia, and I’m sorry I didn’t have any trophies to share with you. But I will keep forever the memories of those unique evenings I spent with you. And each of the goals I have scored for the club.
I wish the best for the future of Seville and I thank everyone for the trust they have placed in me: my coaches, staff and managers, but above all my teammates who have always helped me since my arrival so far.

The officials of AS Monaco who have been busy in the transfer market announced the official signing of Ben Yedder on Wednesday morning. They put out this message after his unveiling to announce his arrival to the club:

Wissam is a player of great talent, a complete striker, who proved in Toulouse and Seville, but also in international competitions, all his sense of purpose. He is also a player with an exemplary mentality.
